Responsibilities As an Oracle Database Administrator with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following: * Work with the latest Oracle technologies and innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals and help shape the system architecture with your expertise.
* Managing backend Oracle 19c databases on Linux (RHEL) servers to support the GoldESP application.
* Performing database backup, maintenance, and ensuring disaster recovery readiness using Oracle RMAN.
* Developing interactive analytic reports and dashboards to meet mission-critical requirements.
* Collaborating with business users to define and implement analytic and reporting solutions.
* Ensuring database integrity through monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning.
* Writing and optimizing SQL queries to support data retrieval, reporting, and application support.
* Developing and maintaining PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, and functions as needed.
* Troubleshooting and resolving SQL/PLSQL performance issues in collaboration with team members. Qualifications * Active TOP SECRET clearance w/SCI eligibility required.
* BA/BS with 5-7 years experience as an Oracle DBA or Developer (Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree).
* Current Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required
* Proven expertise with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
* Experience managing Oracle databases on Linux and Windows platforms.
* Proficiency with SQL and familiarity with PL/SQL programming (advanced skills are a plus).
* Exposure to SQL performance tuning and query optimization (training and mentoring provided).
* Hands-on experience writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
* Proficiency with Oracle RMAN for disaster recovery and archiving.
* Familiarity with Oracle Advanced Security and Oracle Label Security.

The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
