Summary:
The Senior Packaging Engineer will support the design, development, and validation of packaging systems for new products, line extensions, and manufacturing improvements. This role involves working with cross-functional teams, managing packaging projects, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging Development & Support:

• Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Work with internal teams and suppliers to develop packaging that meets performance, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Support validation and documentation efforts to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Manufacturing & Process Improvement:

• Help troubleshoot packaging-related manufacturing issues and identify process improvements.
• Participate in cost-saving initiatives and material optimizations.
• Collaborate with quality and regulatory teams to maintain compliance with packaging regulations.

Technical Knowledge & Compliance:

• Apply knowledge of packaging materials, testing methods, and validation processes.
• Support risk assessments and documentation related to packaging changes.
• Assist with regulatory submissions and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• BS (7+ years) or MS (5+ years) in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and validation processes preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team setting.
