Position Overview
The Senior PC Network Specialist is a key member of the DP Technical team managing multiple systems and tools. Monitors Critical/Core systems and is capable of training junior members of the team as well as acts as an escalation point. Has extensive knowledge of many key systems and tools and a full understanding of operational procedures. Works with other members of the DP Operations team to manage and support Critical/Core systems and the infrastructure. Assists and troubleshoot IT problems as needed.

Summary of Job Duties
Ensures the PCs are patched and up to date

Troubleshooting of network, hardware, and software problems

Deployment of new client and Data Center hardware

Troubleshoot help desk tickets and service requests

Provide deep technical expertise and skills in the management, design, development and troubleshooting of Network Services (WAN,LAN, WLAN, Firewall management, VPN, Voice & Video)

Able to translate business requirements or requirements from other IT departments into solutions for network services by supporting or being responsible for the Solution Design

Be a functional expert in related projects

Be a direct support for the Manager Network Services (Solution design, functional project planning, project execution)

Support the network team in the service lifecycle management of network services especially on voice & video

Support technical integration activities

Develop, propose and maintain the overall network roadmaps

Manage and provide 3rd level support for network services

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates should be proficient in the following technical areas:

Understanding of Computer Networking

Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019

Windows 10/11

Computer networking knowledge

Candidates with the following skills are a plus:

Knowbe4

Working with Dell Power Flex products

Fortinet FortiGate, FortiClient VPN and Cisco switch / routing knowledge

Desktop deployment imaging experience

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science and at least five to ten years' experience with a proven record in IT solution design, technical planning in multinational organizations.

Minimum of five years of experience in network, voice & video experience.

Have a solid understanding of local area networking and systems concepts including standards, topologies, protocols, and equipment.

CompTIA - A + Certification, Security+ and Network+ Certifications are a plus.

Seasonal employees scheduled to work 40 hours during their period of employment will accrue vacation in the same manner as regular full-time employees and can use their vacation after completion of twenty-six (26) bi-weekly pay periods in active pay status. Part-time Seasonal employees (scheduled to work less than 40 hours) do not accrue vacation.

Intermittent and Temporary Employees: Long-Term Sick Leave accrual is based on hours worked.
