Senior PeopleSoft Developer

We work a hybrid model (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home); this position is located in our Minneapolis Metro headquarters.

The role of a developer in the PeopleSoft environment is to provide technical expertise to support BIW's PeopleSoft environment. A senior developer will play a lead role in project development. Individual will work with a CAP project manager or project manager from another technical area, or directly with user subject matter experts. Individual will work as lead for larger PeopleSoft customization or integration projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions to solve business requirements. This includes standard design and testing documentation.
• Develop and test code to adhere to the design documents.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Work directly with internal users to resolve application issues.
• Adhere to all SDLC procedures and development standards.
• Contribute to the PeopleSoft support process, including developing bug fixes and on call support.

Skills & Abilities

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or applicable experience.
• 5 years or more experience working as a PeopleSoft Developer.
• PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain 9.2 development experience.
• Proven development skills on the technologies available within PeopleTools 8.6 or higher.
• Proven Integration Broker, application package, and application engine experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PeopleSoft administrator functions, including server configuration and security.
• Software analysis skills and design skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage or work on multiple priorities.
• Team player.
• Problem solving skills.

Education/Experience Required

• BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
• Prior experience as a PeopleSoft Developer.

Base Salary Range: $145K to $150K. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
