Job Summary:
IT Veterans is currently seeking a Senior Personal Identity Verification (PIV) System Administrator to join our team. You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
Job Details:
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's PIV system.
- Manage and support the lifecycle of PIV credentials, including issuance, maintenance, and revocation.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and security, implementing best practices for system administration.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of the PIV system to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and maintain documentation for PIV processes and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet compliance requirements.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for PIV system issues, working closely with IT and security teams to resolve incidents.
- Respond to and resolve user access and authentication issues related to the PIV system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and HR, to ensure seamless integration of PIV systems with other enterprise applications.
- Provide training and guidance to junior administrators and end-users on PIV system use and best practices.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of the PIV system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position preferred.
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience. In lieu of eight years' experience, certifications or past work may be accepted.
