The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing and executing advanced pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitive advantage. This role requires deep analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects. The Senior Pricing Analyst will analyze complex data sets, market trends, and competitor behaviors to inform pricing decisions and drive business performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sophisticated pricing strategies based on thorough market, cost, and competitive analysis.
  • Adjust and refine pricing strategies to respond to market dynamics and organizational goals.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and modeling techniques to predict customer behavior and optimize pricing.
  • Develop and maintain complex pricing models, price lists, and databases.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing strategy effectiveness and business impact.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing initiatives.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, product management, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert pricing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the pricing approval process, ensuring adherence to pricing policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing information in systems and databases.
  • Lead pricing projects and initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in pricing analysis and strategy.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, pricing tools, and technologies.


Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams at different levels of a matrix organization.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally in a global context.
  • Exceptional analytical and data analysis skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel skills and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.


Desired Characteristics
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Commercial and Supply Chain acumen.
