The Senior Pricing Analyst will analyze complex data sets, market trends, and competitor behaviors to inform pricing decisions and drive business performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sophisticated pricing strategies based on thorough market, cost, and competitive analysis.
- Adjust and refine pricing strategies to respond to market dynamics and organizational goals.
- Utilize advanced data analytics and modeling techniques to predict customer behavior and optimize pricing.
- Develop and maintain complex pricing models, price lists, and databases.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing strategy effectiveness and business impact.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing initiatives.
- Partner with sales, marketing, product management, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives.
- Provide expert pricing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the pricing approval process, ensuring adherence to pricing policies and guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing information in systems and databases.
- Lead pricing projects and initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in pricing analysis and strategy.
- Stay current with industry best practices, pricing tools, and technologies.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial forecasting.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams at different levels of a matrix organization.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally in a global context.
- Exceptional analytical and data analysis skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel skills and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
- Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

- Master's Degree preferred.
