Position Overview
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer, will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing complex manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You will lead engineering projects from conception to completion, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues. This position requires a strong background in process engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing manufacturing processes, with a focus on Membrane coating and assembly operations. This role requires a strong background in process engineering, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
Typical activities include:
- Process Design and Optimization:
Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in the manufacture of Membrane coating and assembly operations.
Implement innovative solutions to optimize production workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documents, including Process Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to Membrane manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to implement process improvements and ensure equipment uptime.
- Foster a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the Membrane manufacturing industry.
- A solid understanding of LEAN manufacturing background and a skillset in 6 Sigma preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and in proximity to loud equipment.
