Summary

The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for maintaining the appropriate inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials and components, and will establish and adhere to the procurement guidelines based on the strategies and goals outlined by the organization. The SPM serves as subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion SCM and inventory management systems, while acting as a liason between Great Healthworks' Finance Department, suppliers and contract manufacturers. Duties also include executing purchase orders, communicating with and serving as point of contact with vendors, leading audits of inventory, reconciling and tracking raw materials, WIP and finished goods and supporting ERP expansion projects.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Senior Procurement Manager will develop and maintain spreadsheets and systems tracking end-to-end usage of consigned RMs and manufacturing yields tied inventory audits
  • Conduct monthly and annual inventory counts
  • Senior Procurement Manager will oversee demand planning using available forecasts and sales reporting tools, analyze and improve inventory replenishment and order placement practices
  • Responsible for execution of purchase orders, managing inventory throughout the manufacturing process and maintaining a record of received supplies, verifying shipments against purchase orders and invoices
  • Senior Procurement Manager will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual audits of inventory on site and in route
  • Govern accurate and efficient procurement and supply chain management processes which maximize service and minimize cost
  • Senior Procurement Manager will utilize procurement systems data to provide reporting on cost of goods sold for accounting
  • Develop and implement shipping and receiving procedures

What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant (operations, business, finance) field of study preferred
  • 10 plus years' experience in procurement, finance or forecasting role
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory planning, supply chain management, forecasting techniques as well as operational systems and warehouse management systems
  • Working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting, financial accounting, cost management, treasury, risk management, etc.
  • Team player to collaborate with business units and functional partners: Finance, Marketing, IT, Bottling, DC, Quality, etc.
  • Knowledge of the supplement and personal care industries a plus, including knowledge of related manufacturing processes
  • Must have strong interpersonal, relationship building, and negotiation skills
