Job Description:
- Plan negotiations, define awarding strategy and prepare sourcing board approvals, respecting the suppliers defined by the commodity strategy, to enable pooling potential.
- Negotiate local, regional, or multi-site contracts in conjunction with relevant procurement managers, or independently. This includes negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms, among other specifics.
- Manage the relationship with assigned suppliers (in alignment with CM/GCM when applicable).
- Generates, documents and implement savings measures; monitor and reports relevant KPIs.
- Identify procurement risks and opportunities and implement respective measures
- Implement Commodity Strategies and define local/regional material field strategy for non-pooled commodities and Portfolios/PCCs Strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/commodity management.
- Experience working in a complex, global organizational environment with a strong understanding of component manufacturing processes and quality (or Direct Procurement).
- Outstanding Excel skills, coupled with excellent commercial, contractual, and project management competence.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills, with experience working in a matrix environment and managing global supplier relationships.
