Job Summary/Description:
As a Senior Producer for InvestigateTV+ en Espaol, you will oversee all aspects of production, ensuring high-quality content, managing budgets, and organizing talent and recording schedules.
In this role, you will lead a team to deliver engaging and informative daily shows in Spanish, ensuring they meet the expectations and standards of Gray Media and its audience. You will adhere to journalistic standards and meet strict deadlines.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the production and delivery of all episodes of InvestigateTV+ en Espaol.
- Manage the creation of scripts, legal reviews for video content, and copywriting in Spanish while vetting individual projects.
- Create topicals and social media content for digital platforms.
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize video content across stations.
- Oversee the dubbing process, ensuring high-quality audio translation and synchronization, while maintaining quality control (QC) of the final product.
- Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for the show.
- Partner with various production teams to identify and develop compelling stories.
- Lead and mentor a production staff, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring projects stay on track and within financial goals.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with a team.
- Identify and resolve production issues efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Passion for U.S.-Hispanic storytelling with experience in digital media production for this audience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in TV, news, or digital production in Spanish.
- Strong writing and production skills, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Experience managing rundowns in ENPS and meeting strict deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions in the production workflow.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their features.
- Experience in media management, FTP processes, and content-sharing platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in communications/media production or a related field.
