The Sage Network Platform is the first of its kind in the accounting industry. It automates tasks like sending invoices and waiting for payments, connecting all users, whether they use Sage software or not, into one seamless system. This platform allows businesses to handle accounting tasks effortlessly, providing quick business insights and making financial management much easier. It enables smooth transactions with customers, suppliers, banks, and other stakeholders, revolutionizing the overall efficiency of accounting processes.

Your Mission: Craft user-centered, intuitive, and innovative design solutions that revolutionize the invoice management experience. Spanning across the following functionalities; transactional details, invoice tracking, e-invoicing, tailored notifications, localization features, customizable settings, and insightful engagement metrics.

Tech stack: You'll work with Figma. Plus, you'll work closely with the Sage AI Engineering team to leverage their technology (AI and machine learning) and enhance customer/user experience.

Meet Your New Team:
Your immediate colleagues will consist of 6 other Product Designers, a UX Content Writer, and 2 UX Researchers, all reporting to a Sr. Director of Product Design & Research, who trusts and empowers the team to do what they do best and is highly invested in their development and success. The Sage Network team acts like a start-up; they are given the reins to move quickly and make decisions. You'll join a larger group consisting of product managers and dedicated engineers.

Location: Open to 100% remote based within the United States.

Minimum Qualifications: Is this you?
6 years of experience in UX/Product Design crafting user-centric design solutions.
You have hands-on experience designing for the e-invoicing transactions/experience.
Ability to share a relevant Case Study via an online portfolio (please provide a password if protected)
You're known for being an effective communicator who can clearly articulate design decisions and rationales, with a 'show early and often' mentality.
You deeply value working with others to achieve a common goal, being kind and having fun at work.
You're a Figma power user. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Feature Design: Lead the design of intuitive, efficient, and engaging features that meet the needs of A/R and A/P teams, focusing on transactions, invoice status, e-invoicing, and more.
User Research: Conduct user research by partnering with our user research team to understand the needs and behaviors of our users. Utilize insights to inform and iterate on design decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring your designs from concept to reality. Ensure a cohesive user experience across the Sage Network ecosystem.
Prototyping and Testing: Create high-fidelity prototypes for user testing. Gather and incorporate feedback to refine designs.
Metrics and Analytics: Utilize engagement metrics to inform design decisions and demonstrate the impact of your work on user satisfaction and business goals.
Localization and Accessibility: Ensure that all features are accessible and easily localized for users in different regions, adhering to global standards and practices.
Design System Contribution: You will work closely with the rest of the design and engineering teams to design and introduce new and enhanced design system components to enrich the design library we currently have. This is a weekly estimation of 5-10% of your time working on the design system.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain regions require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role. For this role, the target base salary range for new hires is USD$115,000 to $155,000. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in a bonus plan (15%) based on company and individual performance. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific opportunities on our bonus or incentive programs. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package.
