The Senior Product Director for the STAR Franchise is responsible for setting the strategic direction and execution of product marketing initiatives across the franchise portfolio. This role leads portfolio-level strategy development, competitive intelligence, KOL engagement, and revenue-driving initiatives while overseeing product performance, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Product Director plays a pivotal leadership role in guiding the product management team and aligning initiatives with corporate growth objectives.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Ordered by importance):
- Lead the strategic direction for the STAR Dermis portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and revenue objectives.
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including portfolio positioning, lifecycle management, and growth initiatives.
- Provide leadership in long-term strategic planning for product innovation and expansion.
- Develop and manage advanced competitive intelligence strategies to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
- Leverage data analytics, AI, and large language models (LMM) to enhance predictive capabilities in market intelligence.
- Lead engagement strategies with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry influencers to enhance brand credibility and market positioning.
- Foster and expand high-value relationships with leading surgeons and clinicians to support education, advocacy, and product innovation.
- Guide the product management team in leveraging KOL insights to shape marketing strategies.
- Oversee forecasting and market analytics to drive business decisions and optimize product performance.
- Implement AI-driven forecasting tools to improve accuracy in demand planning and revenue projections.
- Lead the development of data-driven decision-making models to refine market segmentation and sales targeting.
- Develop and manage the product marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Oversee P&L management for the franchise portfolio, providing executive-level financial insights to leadership.
- Ensure financial discipline and efficiency across marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and promotional
- Drive deep market research initiatives to uncover unmet needs and potential growth opportunities for STAR Franchise products.
- Ensure continuous engagement with customers and sales teams to refine marketing messaging and value propositions.
- Guide the team in leveraging qualitative and quantitative research to shape marketing and sales strategies.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Professional Education, and Product Development to align initiatives with go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with Business Development to assess new product opportunities and ensure strategic portfolio growth.
- Serve as a senior liaison between Dermis marketing and sales leadership to drive seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Oversee the planning and execution of major product launches, ensuring successful commercialization strategies.
- Guide the development of high-impact promotional campaigns that enhance product awareness and sales effectiveness.
- Manage the integration of digital and traditional marketing strategies for maximum market penetration.
- Provide leadership in special projects, high-level initiatives, and organizational strategic planning efforts.
- Participate in board-level discussions and high-stakes decision-making related to franchise expansion and innovation.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of product marketing or product management experience in the healthcare, medical device, or life sciences industries.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience at a director level or equivalent.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven ability to lead high-impact product marketing initiatives at a portfolio level.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in AI-driven forecasting, competitive intelligence, and data analytics to drive business decisions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in P&L management, strategic budgeting, and revenue optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools
