General Summary:
Product Manager specializing in RISC-V ISA and CPU core to lead the definition, development, and go-to-market strategy of our next-generation processors targeting applications across Qualcomm's product portfolio.. This role requires a rare blend of technical depth, long term thinking, and relationship building to drive a differentiated RISC-V roadmap and turn emerging opportunities into scalable products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to product lifecycle for RISC-V CPUs from concept through execution: market analysis, product definition, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management.
Level of Responsibility:
Working independently with little supervision.
Making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.
Having a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions).
Completing tasks that do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach; mistakes may result in significant rework.
Exercising substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.
Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.
Occasionally participates in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.
2+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$162,400.00 - $243,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. - Lead competitive analysis across RISC-V, ARM, and x86-identify gaps, opportunities, and long-term positioning strategies.
- Partner with business development, marketing, and ecosystem teams to build strong alliances with tool vendors, firmware, OS communities, and hyperscalers.
- Represent the RISC-V CPU roadmap to senior leadership and customers-make the business case, explain the technical story, and drive alignment.
- Track evolving standards, security, and compliance needs across target segments and regions.
