Amazon Kindle team is looking for Senior Product Manager-Technical to join our Kindle for the Web, and Kindle for PC product team. This is an opportunity to build innovative reading experiences for the millions of people looking for to enjoy reading their next book on their browser or the Kindle app on their PC.
The successful candidate will have experience leading the launch of "must-have" consumer apps, combining passion for amazing customer experiences with the ability to work closely with design and engineering to set strategy and create the product definition, and directly manage all aspects of delivering the product roadmap. She or he must be highly analytical and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and apps that customers love.
Key job responsibilities
- Create a bold vision for reading on Kindle for web and PC, in partnership with UX and engineering.
- Define the feature sets, business requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for improvement to the reading experience.
- Rapidly iterate based on customer feedback, and other data sources to ensure we are building the right features over time.

The Kindle Software Product Management team owns the customer facing software experiences across all Kindle devices and apps - ranging from how you read, navigate, acquire content and more. Our mission is to be the world's favorite place to read, write and get more out of reading.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
