Key job responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategies, visions, and roadmaps for product growth and global expansion

- Design innovative products and scalable enhancements that serve diverse customer needs

- Lead investment discussions and make strategic prioritization decisions

- Define comprehensive product, business, and system requirements for complex, large-scale launches

- Manage project milestones from design to launch, ensuring successful program delivery

- Analyze product and business metrics to drive improvements and understand customer needs

- Own overall product experience and financial performance

- Partner with technical teams, business owners, operations, and external partners to create worldwide solutions

A day in the life

As a Senior Product Manager-Technical, you'll start your day collaborating with engineering teams to review technical requirements, followed by strategy sessions with business stakeholders to align on product direction. You'll analyze data to identify optimization opportunities, lead cross-functional meetings to track project progress, and work closely with Amazon Middle Mile, Relay, and Last-mile carriers to enhance our shipping solutions. Your role involves balancing both strategic planning and hands-on execution to drive innovation in global logistics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- Master's degree

- Experience in building supply chain solutions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
