We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Enabling Technologies team. As an experienced professional on the team, you will have an opportunity to work across the entire platform, including software (frontend and backend), firmware, and the large ecosystem of physical devices forming the backbone of each connected community. The solutions we deploy range from life safety applications to energy management to leasing services. As a Senior Product Manager, you will:
- Own business objectives focused on expanding PointCentral's hardware ecosystem to develop new revenue streams and enable value-added services owned by other internal teams.
- Drive the entire product development life cycle -
- Understand PointCentral's existing platform and product strategy, its areas of comparative advantage, and opportunities for growth.
- Perform continuous discovery with customers, service providers, and internal stakeholders. Leverage design and engineering resources to rapidly prototype and analyze market insights.
- Execute on product delivery, often coordinating multiple engineering teams across PointCentral and its parent organization, Alarm.com.
- Be accountable for beta testing and the development of technical documentation, marketing materials, and training resources.
- Ensure product-market fit, customer adoption, and positive outcomes.
- Formulate a vision and product roadmap for your team that supports the larger business objectives and contributes to the evolving company product strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of technology partners, yielding mutually beneficial product updates and resolve unexpected issues quickly.
- Support PointCentral leadership in strategic customer engagements and meetings with executives from Alarm.com.
- Support all revenue teams in qualifying prospects, closing sales, onboarding new customers, and troubleshooting support issues, with a strong willingness to travel onsite to maximize probability of positive outcomes.
- Develop a deep understanding of the rental real estate market, paying close attention to emerging business trends.
- Achieve comprehension of new technologies (LLMs), protocols (Matter), and standards (Aliro) so you can anticipate and capitalize on their advancement of the real estate industry.
- Contribute to a positive and fun work culture, serving as a mentor for junior product managers, engineers, and support staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Successful candidates will demonstrate strong natural leadership, critical thinking, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, curiosity, creativity, and tenacity.
- 5-9 years in technology roles with a minimum of 3 years as a product manager (5+ preferred).
- Project and program management experience is noteworthy but not counted towards years of product management experience.
- Real estate or property technology experience preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve positive business outcomes, meet or exceed revenue goals, and deliver innovative technology to market.
- Able to focus on delivery of the most important product investments, despite an abundance of business opportunities and urgent product requests.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Passion for consumer and commercial technology that quickly translates into a thorough understanding of hardware, protocols, and industry standards.
- Humble and willing to assist in miscellaneous product tasks as needs arise with the business, customers, and colleagues.
- B.S., B.A., or relevant trade experience required. Technical degrees are favored, but we understand great product managers come from many diverse life experiences.
