We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our Compensation team within Amazon Creators. You will lead complex marketplace expansions across the WW affiliate marketing business, while managing critical promotions and experimental compensation programs. The role requires expertise in coordinating with multiple stakeholders including Business, Tech, Tax & Accounting teams to organize and drive end-to-end launches and GTM strategies. You'll be responsible for program managing compensation experiments and custom plan audits, and resolving critical accounting issues on a global scale.

As a self-starter who thrives in a data-driven environment, you'll oversee the implementation of payment, tax, and accounting launches, including new payment methods and accounting systems for invoicing. You must excel at developing and executing UAT plans, as well as managing weekly cross-functional syncs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in handling recurring manual processes issues and standardizing experiment management.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Program Manager in Compensation, you will:

- Drive planning and streamline execution of marketplace expansions and compensation experiments across global teams

- Own technical delivery communication with senior leadership, particularly around compensation experiments, including new payment model launches

- Develop and implement pre-launch UAT plans for various initiatives, including audits and accounting improvements

- Coordinate with tax, accounting, and technical teams to identify, root cause, and resolve systemic issues, eliminate defects, and establish the highest degree of controllership.

- Lead the management of experiment queues, ensuring thorough feasibility assessment and timeline planning

- Drive continuous improvement in payments, accounting and tax systems and processes to minimize operational issues

- Lead quarterly payments and business systems and process audits, including coordinating with stakeholders to gather evidence, evaluating control effectiveness, documenting findings, tracking remediation, and presenting results to leadership while ensuring continuous improvement of the control environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
