About the Team
In 2024, Workday launched an Enterprise Data and Analytics team with a mission to transform and optimize the way Workday builds and shares trusted data to drive actionable insights and data led innovation across the enterprise. The team has introduced a new, cloud based technical stack, a Data Product methodology anchored in the principles of Data Ops, an Active Data Governance methodology to handle the quality and discovery of data, and a series of innovative analytics tools that facilitate discovery, analysis, visualization, machine learning, and AI. The team's goal is to lead high value data and analytics work and to establish and support the broader Workday analytics community by establishing best in class, common ways of working, facilitating training and communication, and crafting secure data and analytics brokering capability across business units.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and methodology focused Senior Program manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Data & Analytics team. Leveraging industry leading practices, this role will lead strategy definition, scope identification, cross functional collaboration, timeline alignment and driving on time delivery of committed outcomes and deliverables. You will be responsible for guiding the team through sprints, managing risks and issues, and maintaining status across various teams. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics domain, Agile principles, great communication skills, and a passion for collaborative problem-solving

About You

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in data, analytics, or technology domains within complex enterprise environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience driving the rollout and lifecycle management of data products-from concept through delivery and value realization.
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with product owners to define vision, roadmap, KPIs, and value frameworks for enterprise data initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of data product strategy, including stakeholder alignment, governance, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience driving programs related to customer lifecycle analytics, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and churn.
  • Strong experience with agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and roadmap management.
  • Adept at status reporting and executive communication, with the ability to simplify complex data program updates for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with engineering, data, product, and business stakeholders to drive clarity, remove roadblocks, and accelerate delivery.
  • Proficient in using tools for digitizing and tracking work (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex workstreams with competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to understand and translate technical concepts into business impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong stakeholder management and change leadership acumen.

  • Program or portfolio management certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP)


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $139,600 USD - $209,800 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,900 USD - $209,800 USD
