Job Summary

We're seeking a strategic and systems-minded Senior Program Manager to lead the development of a scalable, repeatable M&A integration framework. This is not a traditional program manager role - this is a cross-functional architect and operational strategist who will build and maintain the system that powers successful pre- and post-acquisition activities and delivery.

You'll play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and evolving the full lifecycle of M&A integration - including tools, workflows, reporting structures, and communication cadences. You'll collaborate closely with onboarding managers and cross-functional teams, connect workstreams that may otherwise be siloed, and provide end-to-end visibility to stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

Design and Own the M&A Integration System

  • Partner with the Director of Product and Onboarding Manger to build a scalable framework for onboarding acquired labels and companies.
  • Create and maintain the "system" that governs how we onboard and operationalize M&A deals - including playbooks, phases, dependencies, tools, and timelines.
  • Identify and connect all touchpoints across teams involved in service delivery post-acquisition.
Synthesize Activities Across Workstreams
  • Act as the central integrator across all departments by connecting their work into a cohesive end-to-end system. You will work in close partnership across departments to synthesize workstreams, identify cross-functional dependencies, and connect efforts into a unified integration plan. You'll provide the broader operational lens - ensuring activities across all teams are aligned, tracked, and contributing to a seamless acquisition and onboarding experience.
  • Identify activities that fall outside onboarding managers' scope (e.g., systems setup, contractual nuances, data migration, service configuration), and bring them into the system.
  • Build mechanisms to track, monitor, and report on activities across all stages of onboarding.
Drive Visibility and Accountability
  • Develop and own central dashboards, status trackers, and reporting cadences for all active acquisitions.
  • Ensure leadership and key stakeholders have a clear view of progress, bottlenecks, and readiness.
  • Proactively flag risks or inconsistencies and drive resolution through the right teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, A&R Admin, Client Services, Engineering, and Product to define roles, timelines, and milestones within the integration system.
  • Facilitate coordination across teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and expectations.
Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct retrospectives with key stakeholders after each acquisition to identify what worked, what didn't, and where the system can improve.
  • Standardize processes across acquisition types while allowing for flexibility where needed.
  • Drive adoption of best practices and ensure the system scales as the business grows.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years in program management, strategy & operations, or business systems leadership.
  • Experience building or maintaining complex, multi-team operational systems - ideally in post-merger, integration, or service delivery contexts.
  • Ability to synthesize fragmented workstreams and create structure from ambiguity.
  • High-level systems thinking with the ability to go deep when needed to understand edge cases and operational gaps.
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills - you can explain a complex system simply.
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Asana, or similar for program tracking and system documentation.
  • Bonus: background in media, music, or a services-based business model.

Why This Role Matters:

Our growth strategy is fueled by strategic acquisitions - but real success happens after the deal closes. This role is central to our ability to deliver on that promise. You'll help ensure acquired companies experience a seamless transition, and that internal teams are coordinated, empowered, and set up for success. You'll be the operational glue behind the scenes, connecting teams and systems to enable scale and excellence.

Pay Scale

  • $120,000 - 140,000 USD per year
