What is the primary mission of this role? Provide Quality support to Space programs.
What are the main functions of this role?

• Create quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to program teams and supply base including First Article Inspection (FAI) planning.
• Ensure Quality Engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements and verification, including the transition of design into production.
• Onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition.
• Support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package completion and reviews.

Required Skill Sets:

• Quality Engineering or Operations experience with working knowledge of engineering development, material acquisition, production, test, & product acceptance. Experience working with Space hardware.

Desired Skill Sets:

• Infrared industry, semiconductor processing or DoD industry experience preferably working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or with Mission Planning for National Security Space Vehicles.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience.
• BS STEM degree.

How will the contractor's success be measured?

• (Quantifiable measurements): Completion of discrete tasks such as FAI planning and execution along with matrix feedback from Integrated Product Team with respect to the effective implementation and flow down of Quality requirements. Customer feedback regarding support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package reviews.
