Summary
Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to work out of our Falls Church office. The Senior Project Accountant is the primary accounting and administrative support for construction projects from start up through final closeout. Serves as the liaison between the job site and the finance department, ensuring all accounting standard operating procedures are followed at the job site. Performs activities related to contracts, bonds, insurance, payables, liens, billings, payroll/cost/budget reports for the job site management team.

Summary

- Develops and analyzes value management analysis options
Minimum Requirements
- Associates in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
- Proficient using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
Preferred Experience
- B.A. in Accounting
- Construction accounting experience or AEC industry experience strongly desired, but not required.
- 10 years of experience
