Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of our projects in Washington. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule, as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality and profitability while complying with our Safety/Zero Harm culture. Manages, directs, and coordinates the subcontractor's compliance with the Contract Documents as delegated by the project manager.
Responsibilities
100% onsite at Redmond Microsoft Campus with the Square Project. This opportunity involves supporting a large project with a name-brand client like Microsoft. The company has a 30-year history in the greater Seattle market, working with clients like Amazon, Microsoft, and Alaska Airlines. It is a fast-paced project with a large, brand-name client. The company is very culture-forward, hosting team-building events such as a kickball league, night skiing events, and a PE boat day on Lake Union. The main office in downtown Seattle offers panoramic views of the Seattle skyline, Space Needle, and Mt. Rainier. There is significant growth potential and an upward career trajectory
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of projects.
- Maintain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Manage the process of submittal approvals.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain schedules and budgets to ensure quality and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Safety/Zero Harm culture.
- Manage, direct, and coordinate subcontractor compliance with Contract Documents.
- 2.5 to 4 years of experience working as a Project Engineer in commercial construction with a general contractor.
- Large commercial project experience with budgets of $5M+.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project.
- Experience running subcontractor meetings, managing change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
- Leadership experience overseeing 1-3 junior project engineers.
- Experience with punch-lists and estimating.
- Experience with change order approvals, bidding, and budget management.
