Position Summary:
As a Project Engineer, you will work alongside the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution. You'll be responsible for managing bid packages, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, and document control. This role also involves coordinating material deliveries, assisting with cost analysis, procurement, scheduling, and project close-out activities.

Position Summary:
As a Project Engineer, you will work alongside the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution. You'll be responsible for managing bid packages, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, and document control. This role also involves coordinating material deliveries, assisting with cost analysis, procurement, scheduling, and project close-out activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure shop drawings, samples, and submittals in accordance with project requirements.
- Distribute up-to-date plans and specifications to subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Communicate scheduling details with subcontractors and suppliers and provide regular updates to the project team.
- Maintain and follow submittal and approval procedures with Owners, Architects, and Engineers.
- Attend project meetings and document/distribute meeting minutes.
- Track RFIs, ASIs, Submittals, Addenda, and project costs.
- Assist with project close-out including collection of as-builts, warranties, guarantees, and O&M manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Procore, Sage 300 (Timberline), BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers.
- Professional and discreet in handling confidential information.
Compensation
- Salary: $95,000 - $110,000/year (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus: Occasionally paid travel may be required
- Work Environment: Flexible schedule between office and project site
