Job Title: Senior Project Engineer/Geologist/Scientist at Trihydro Corporation

This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of project management, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale groundwater monitoring programs and remediation projects at industrial facilities.
  • Manage small-scale soil gas and indoor air monitoring programs at industrial facilities.
  • Interact with various state agencies to optimize and revise monitoring programs as necessary.
  • Scope, cost, plan, schedule, execute, and report for assigned projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, prepare purchase orders, and approve vendor invoices.
  • Manage staff and assign resources to complete project tasks within budget and on schedule.
  • Develop work plans and health & safety plans.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to execute site investigation and remediation projects.
  • Oversee and perform field investigations that may include reconnaissance, mapping, and multi-media sampling (air, water, soil).
  • Oversee remediation construction projects, including leading field teams in completion of remediation work.
  • Maintain client, Trihydro, and regulatory health & safety standards and perform regular field project health & safety audits.
  • Manage and evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
  • Prepare site restoration, investigation summary, remedy implementation, performance monitoring, permit compliance, and site closure reports.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in geology, engineering, or a related field (California professional registration is a plus).
  • 12-20 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Initiative to complete project deliverables on schedule and within budget.
  • An interest in mentoring junior staff.
  • Working knowledge of health & safety best practices and a commitment to safe operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and conversant with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling packages.
  • The ability to grasp scientific concepts and apply them to different technical challenges.
  • A clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $100,000 $120,000

This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
