Senior Project Manager - Transmission

Job Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Transmission market of Power and Energy.
• Ability to develop and implement strategy.
• Responsible for leading, developing and growing the Team. Ensuring the health of our company's culture.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, subcontractors, and engineers.
• Responsible for ensuing company Health, Safety & Environmental programs are implemented and adhered to.
• Overall P&L responsibility for their portfolio work.
• Ensuring our projects are meeting company and customer quality programs, requirements, and expectations.
• Engaging with the Cianbro estimating team to select opportunities to pursue and develop strategies to win work and maintain healthy backlog.
• Assist project teams with contract and change negotiations.
• Advanced understanding of CPM scheduling, ability to identify and mitigate schedule challenges, and management of overall portfolio schedule as it relates to resource planning.
• Ability to identify productivity concerns and assist project teams with developing recovery plans.
• Ability to identify opportunities for equipment investment based on backlog of work.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• 15 years of construction experience, 5 yrs minimum transmission experience preferred.
• Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, means, and methods); supervision, estimating, schedules, budget, and safety required.
• Excellent communication, engagement, and leadership skills are essential.
• Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.
• Must be highly analytical with a strong business sense.
