Your role, your impact

As a Senior Project Manager, Engineering, you will work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement contractors, vendors, and other project support staff and stakeholders. You will manage nuclear-related projects, overseeing staff and subcontractors to ensure the projects are cost-effective, completed safely and delivered on time, while consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Your day-to-day

• Develop, track and maintain project schedules and budgets;
• Identify and manage project risks;
• Manage change control of projects;
• Authorize commitments of expenditure on the project and approve payment of invoices;
• Own client delivery responsibilities and establish requirements as per the procurement procedure;
• Act as the prime interface with the client and other shareholders;
• Provide leadership to the project team.

Keys to your success

• University degree in engineering or technical degree/diploma with a PMP certification;
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a project manager on nuclear or heavy industry-related projects;
• Professional experience in principles and practices of engineering as applied to design and construction of projects, ideally within the nuclear industry;
• Experience:
  
  • calculating and tracking CPI, SPI and Earned Valued;
  • preparing proposals and change order requests for clients;
  • developing project execution plans and budgets;
  • with industry-related scheduling systems (MS Project, Primavera);
  • using Jira for task/bug management;
  • using MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and coordinate with multiple project teams;
• Effective communication, writing, organization and presentation skills.
