We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Global Minerals & Metals (M&M) team and to support our growth to align with the demand to supply responsibly sourced critical minerals. The Project Manager will oversee multidisciplinary teams conducting project studies through detailed design to construction/commissioning.

This opportunity will be to support the growth of our M&M business located in in several locations in Canada.

Your role within the team:

• Prepare proposals for studies and plant engineering mandates and execute these mandates when awarded.
• Develop and implement execution strategies.
• Manage studies and plant engineering mandates in accordance with the project scope and schedule.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules to ensure cost, quality and schedule objectives are met.
• Manage and control project budgets.
• Prepare project forecasts.
• Identify scope changes and request change orders in advance of performing work.
• Using established project management tools, measure monthly the progress of projects to ensure that the budgets and schedules are being met, and if necessary, take corrective action.
• Ensure that the reviews of documentation are carried out in accordance with the Project Instructions.
• Prepare project status reports.
• Ensure that interdisciplinary coordination is carried out in accordance with the Project Instructions.
• Prepare engineering and construction work packages as required to support the execution of the project.
• Initiate a prompt identification and correction for any engineering issues.
• Oversee and manage the procurement requisition process, review bids and tendering documents to ensure conformance with the project scope and technical specifications.
• Develop, maintain and coordinate all interfaces with client operations groups.
• Ensures that suitable and sufficient staffing is available to meet the performance objectives of the project.
• Support the identification and prequalification of subcontractors.
• Clearly communicate the engineering scope, including the technology and the design information, to team members to meet project requirements.
• Review drawings and develop scopes of work.
• Management of subcontractors including change management.
• Establish and maintain a climate favorable to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of the project engineering work.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor of Science degree Engineering desired.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for registration desired.
• Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in the mining industry.
• Previous EPC/EPCM experience preferred.
• Site experience and/or experience working in an operations role in a mining process plant is an asset.
• Working knowledge of cost, planning and control methods.
• Proficiency in a variety of standard project management methods and techniques.
• Self-motivated, goal oriented with strong client focus and interpersonal skills.

Nous recherchons un(e) Gestionnaire de Projet pour rejoindre notre quipe mondiale Mines et Mtaux (M&M) et soutenir notre croissance afin de rpondre la demande de fourniture de minraux critiques provenant de sources responsables. Le(la) Gestionnaire de Projet supervisera des quipes multidisciplinaires menant des tudes de projet, de la conception dtaille la construction/mise en service. Cette opportunit vise soutenir la croissance de notre activit M&M situe dans plusieurs endroits au Canada.

Votre rle au sein de l'quipe

• Prparer des propositions pour des tudes et des mandats d'ingnierie d'usine et excuter ces mandats lorsqu'ils sont attribus.
• Dvelopper et mettre en uvre des stratgies d'excution.
• Grer des tudes et des mandats d'ingnierie d'usine conformment la porte et au calendrier du projet.
• Dvelopper, coordonner et maintenir les calendriers de projet pour garantir que les objectifs de cot, de qualit et de calendrier sont atteints.
• Grer et contrler les budgets de projet.
• Prparer des prvisions de projet.
• Identifier les changements de porte et demander des ordres de modification avant d'effectuer le travail.
• Utiliser des outils de gestion de projet tablis pour mesurer mensuellement l'avancement des projets afin de garantir que les budgets et les calendriers sont respects, et si ncessaire, prendre des mesures correctives.
• Assurer que les revues de documentation sont effectues conformment aux Instructions du Projet.
• Prparer des rapports d'tat de projet.
• Assurer la coordination interdisciplinaire conformment aux Instructions du Projet.
• Prparer des packages de travail d'ingnierie et de construction ncessaires pour soutenir l'excution du projet.
• Identifier et corriger rapidement tout problme d'ingnierie.
• Superviser et grer le processus de demande d'achat, examiner les offres et les documents d'appel d'offres pour garantir la conformit avec la porte et les spcifications techniques du projet.
• Dvelopper, maintenir et coordonner toutes les interfaces avec les groupes oprationnels du client.
• Assurer que le personnel qualifi est disponible pour rpondre aux objectifs de performance du projet.
• Soutenir l'identification et la prqualification des sous-traitants.
• Communiquer clairement la porte de l'ingnierie, y compris la technologie et les informations de conception, aux membres de l'quipe pour rpondre aux exigences du projet.
• Revoir les dessins et dvelopper des portes de travail.
• Grer les sous-traitants, y compris la gestion des changements.
• tablir et maintenir un climat favorable l'application de pratiques thiques et professionnelles dans l'excution des travaux d'ingnierie du projet.

Le(la) candidat(e) idal(e)

• Diplme: Bachelor en Sciences en ingnierie souhait.
• Inscription: Ingnieur(e) professionnel(le) (P.Eng.) ou ligible l'inscription.
• Exprience: Minimum 10 ans d'exprience, de prfrence dans l'industrie minire.
• Exprience en EPC/EPCM: Prfre.
• Exprience sur site: Exprience sur site et/ou dans un rle oprationnel dans une usine de traitement minier est un atout.
• Comptences en gestion de projet: Connaissance pratique des mthodes de cot, de planification et de contrle. Matrise de diverses mthodes et techniques de gestion de projet standard.
• Qualits personnelles: Autonomie, orientation vers les objectifs avec un fort focus client et des comptences interpersonnelles.
