We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead, direct and coordinate the day-to-day management of multiple projects at a time. - Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Develop and maintain owner, designer, subcontractor, vendor and client relationships
- Ability to communicate with municipalities to ensure all permitting/testing/inspection needs have been adequately captured and understood by the construction team
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliveries and estimate costs
- Establish, update and communicate the project schedule
- Ability to communicate information through both verbal and written communication with all members of the construction process
- Coordinate and direct other project managers, construction workers and subcontractors
- Communicate daily with field superintendents
- Provide updates from field superintendents and compile weekly update reports to client/owners
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Travel to jobsites throughout the month if applicable
- Ability to use critical thinking to problem solve any construction issues that arise during the course of the project
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Ability to articulate and issue RFI concerns and Change Order opportunities to ensure Fulcrum Construction and its clients are best represented
- Ability to provide a cost breakdown structure based on company guidelines that accurately shows the valuation of all scope fields
- Understand the SOV documentation needed to adequately justify monthly Pay Apps submitted by subcontractors
- Ensure proper close out documentation is received and proposed by Document Control Specialist
Requirements
- Proven working experience in construction management- 10 years minimum
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Previous experience using Microsoft Excel
- OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred. If not current, receive within 1st year & keep current.
- BS degree in Building Science, Construction Management or Engineering
