Reporting to the NIOA Group Chief Information Officer, the Senior Project Manager will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver transformational change within a fast-paced environment and lead the establishment of the USA Project Management Office (PMO).
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Manage and deliver projects for various business units within the USA region, including major activities such as business acquisitions, and core system implementations or upgrades.
- Engage with business, operations and technology stakeholders, to understand their unique context, requirements and constraints, and ensure effective project planning and delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans and manage projects within agreed scope, schedule and budget.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, and identify and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to operational and executive stakeholders.
- Arrange and facilitate project related meetings including workshops, daily standups, etc.
- Establish and lead the USA PMO, and contribute to the collective success of all regional PMO's via sharing of knowledge and best-practices and alignment of processes and practices.
About You
You are a problem-solver, with strong critical thinking, decision making and communication skills. You thrive in managing multiple projects with strict deadlines in challenging environments and take great personal satisfaction from delivering successful and sustained change that's embraced by the business.
- Bachelors degree in project management or similar discipline (or a combination of education, industry recognized certifications and proven relevant experience), required.
- 10+ years project/program management experience, of those, 5+ managing technology-related projects, 3+ leading a PMO, required. Manufacturing industry experience is desirable.
- Leading business transformation projects, including ERP implementations or migrations, business acquisitions, or similar complex, high-risk projects.
- Expertise, and formal certification where relevant, in project management methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK and/or PMP.
- Proficient with project management and collaboration tools including MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, required.
- Proven ability to plan, problem-solve, collaborate and communicate at all levels.
