Does your project management experience run the gamut from traditional waterfall methodology to an Agile environment? As a Project Manager you will be working with multiple teams and projects at once, so a can-do attitude and ability to handle several projects concurrently is a must.

As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities would include:
  • Working with business and IT stakeholders to understand the program scope, business objectives, timeline, etc.
  • Strategizing and outlining the goals and objectives of each program/project
  • Organizing, planning and monitoring multiple inter-connected projects
  • Developing project charters, high level timelines, resources requirements, etc.
  • Managing the day-to-day key activities
  • Coordinating cross-project activities
  • Managing issues and risks to minimize impact on programs/projects
  • Assisting in removing key obstacles that are currently impacting project success
  • Engaging with and presenting to senior management on various program/project topics
  • Reporting to senior management on program/project status
  • Coaching and mentoring project personnel

The ideal candidate for this position would also meet the following requirements:
  • 10 years of project management experience
  • 10 years of experience in the high-tech field
  • 3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment either as a Project Manager or a ScrumMaster
  • Ability to work on multiple programs/projects concurrently
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Experience working independently, as well as in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • Strong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Persuasive, adaptable, encouraging, and motivating
  • An independent learner and self-starter
  • An eye for detail but able to see the big picture
  • Prior business analysis experience is a plus
  • A background in financial services is a plus
