The Senior Project Manager will lead transformational initiatives that align with strategic business objectives, driving innovation and operational excellence within the organization. This role will develop and execute detailed project roadmaps, oversee cross-functional Projects, and ensure successful delivery through collaboration, risk management, and resource optimization. The position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and effective stakeholder management to transform the business and maintain a competitive edge.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Design and implement comprehensive Project roadmaps using tools like Hoshin Kanri.
    • Translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives, aligning with organizational objectives.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple, complex projects across departments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
    • Develop and track KPIs to monitor progress, measure success, and identify areas for enhancement.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, and timelines for new initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster alignment on objectives and priorities.
    • Communicate Project status, risks, and changes effectively to leadership and team members.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving:
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure Project success.
    • Resolve conflicts and address challenges proactively to maintain project momentum.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Lead the integration of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles into Project strategies.
    • Standardize processes to optimize resource allocation and enhance organizational agility.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive innovation by introducing best practices and advanced methodologies.
    • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations in all Project activities.
    • Develop policies and procedures to uphold quality, safety, and compliance across projects.
  • Mentorship & Team Development:
    • Coach and mentor project managers and team members to build organizational capabilities.
    • Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing across departments.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 7 years in Project or project management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing operations technology.
  • Experience with project roadmap tools such as Hoshin Kanri.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field. A Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This is a fully on-site role at the South Deerfield, MA location

  • Ability to move and travel through the production floor as required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e., stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e., climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this position is listed below. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
