We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage land development projects from conception to completion. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Florida who excels in design oversight, project coordination, and client engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed proposals, budgets, and client agreements.
- Lead and oversee the design and technical execution of projects including engineering design, calculations, reports, permitting, and presentations.
- Write responses to RFQs and solicitations from public and private clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.
- Coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Guide and support the technical and professional growth of the project team(s).
- Participate in the development and improvement of company-wide design and production standards.
- Actively engage with professional associations and civic organizations to represent the company in the community.
- Prepare creation reports and bond applications for Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs).
- Attend monthly MUD board meetings and contribute to discussions related to development and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida.
- 8+ years of experience managing civil engineering projects, preferably in land development.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong background in client relations and stakeholder engagement, including with MUDs and public agencies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams of engineers and technical professionals.
- Active participation in professional and civic organizations.
