Fluor has a great opportunity within our Global Talent Acquisition organization for a Sr. Recruiter to support the Eastern US region.
The Sr. Recruiter will work within a team of talent acquisition and HR professionals to achieve business and talent acquisition outcomes and objectives in support of the company's strategic initiatives. As a trusted partner, the Sr. Recruiter will be critical in translating workforce plans and executing recruitment strategies to deliver the desired business outcomes. In addition to managing a robust requisition assignment, the role will ensure positive candidate and client experiences in all dealings, ensure systems and processes are adhered to, act as a mentor to more junior team members, and help foster the relationship between talent acquisition and business leadership.
Fluor offers flexible work options and a 9/80 work schedule. This position is eligible for in-office or hybrid working options. For in-office and hybrid working, our Fluor office is located in Greenville, SC.
This role will support recruitment efforts through the following:
Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent
Collaborate and consult with hiring managers to advise on recruitment processes, market trends, and candidate pipeline development strategies
Establish creative sourcing and recruitment strategy to proactively find quality candidates and build and maintain talent pipelines and pools for key identified positions
Stay connected and aware of market and/or competitor intel across assigned region or business segment
Ensure candidate experience is positive irrespective of outcome and promotes Fluor's brand to internal and external facing talent
Utilize social media sourcing and branding to support talent attraction
Leverage and promote employer brand to positively engage talent communities for immediate and future vacancies
Partner with members of the regional recruitment team to ensure day to day operational talent acquisition deliverables that support business outcomes
Train and mentor less experienced team members on best practice recruitment with a focus on pro-active sourcing outcomes
Ensure system and process compliance across all requisitions
Collaborate with the regional recruitment lead on program issues and solutions to continually improve the quality of talent entering the organization
Use data, analytics, and industry insights to support Talent Acquisition conversations and present information in an effective manner
May be involved in other recruitment-based programs, including diversity initiatives, student outreach efforts, and college recruiting
Additional responsibilities as required to ensure the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence delivers outcomes to the regional business
Basic Job Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of work-related experience with demonstrable capacity in pro-active sourcing capabilities for engineering talent within an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) company or similar (oil & gas, chemicals, energy, energy transition)
Job related technical expertise, including proficient knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
Expertise sourcing and mining large career-based sites such as LinkedIn or Indeed
Experience managing large scale hiring projects with both on-site and office-based positions
Strong candidate management skills
Comfortable working within a fast paced environment and as a change champion who embraces efficiencies and continuous improvement
Passionate team player wanting to be part of a successful regional function
Ability to work within a complex matrix professional services environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively and influence audiences that include business leaders, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, candidates, and other stakeholders
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed
Preferred Qualifications
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation
Experience with BrassRing and/or SuccessFactors
Strong background in Advanced Technology engineering sectors to include Pharmaceutical, Data Center, Information Technology, Semi-Conductor, Battery Manufacturing, etc.
