Overview

As a Fellowship Physician Recruiter at The Inline Group, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting highly specialized physicians across various fellowship-trained specialties.

Job Summary

This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of physician recruitment, the ability to engage passive candidates, and strong relationship-building skills to connect top-tier specialists with healthcare organizations. Fellowship Physician Recruiters work full-time (9 AM to 5 PM CST) and report to the Recruitment Director. In this role, you will manage complex, high-value searches, proactively source and engage physicians, and collaborate closely with Client Services to ensure seamless placements. This position requires strategic outreach, deep market knowledge, and advanced recruitment techniques to attract top-tier specialists.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for specialized physician roles.
  • Proactively engage fellowship-trained specialists through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screenings, assessing career goals, practice preferences, credentials, and availability.
  • Provide expert guidance to candidates, offering insights into market trends, compensation structures, and career opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced and creative sourcing techniques, including: Personal networks and referrals within specialty physician communities, LinkedIn and industry-specific professional groups, Job boards and third-party platforms, and Database mining.
  • Work closely with Client Services to align candidate submissions with client needs, ensuring top-quality placements.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of high-value specialists to anticipate future hiring needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive compensation models, and evolving hiring practices in specialty medicine.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of physician recruiting experience, with a strong preference for specialty or fellowship-trained physician recruitment.
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates in a highly competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of credentialing, licensing, and compensation structures for specialized physicians.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-value searches simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to guide candidates and clients through the hiring process.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, job boards (Indeed, DocCafe, LinkedIn, etc.), and networking platforms for sourcing and candidate tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
