Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our team in Kennewick, WA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting top talent for various positions within the organization. The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to fill open positions, as well as developing and implementing recruitment tactics and strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and sourcing candidates
- Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions
- Actively sources potential candidates to seek out top talent
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
- Identifies appropriate candidates (through sourcing methods and applicants) and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
- Setting up and following up with background checks for new hires and potentially annual checks for various positions
- Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs
- Coordinates travel arrangements for candidates and new hires
- Is involved in either setting up or ensuring completion of initial data for new employees and submitting information for employee changes for promotions, transfers, etc.
- Involved in delivering and improving new hire onboarding/orientation for new hires and communicating changes with various channels within and outside HR
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment and hiring practices, as well ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations
- May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes
- May be involved in other HR related projects as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education / Experience:
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices and techniques
- Experience using applicant tracking systems
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field required; experience accepted in lieu of degree
- 4+ years of related work experience preferred
- SHRM-CP credential preferred
Job Knowledge / Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods including sourcing and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's ATS, HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
- Communicate clearly and professionally through listening, speaking, and exceptional writing skills; remain professional and solutions-focused while interacting with others
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organized approach to work, effective time management and follow-through
- Complete work both independently and as an effective member of the team, adapting to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities as needed
- Proactive with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Computer skills: MS Office and Google applications, ATS, HRIS/Payroll databases, Performance Management tools, background check tools, query tools, and database systems and applications
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- General office positions may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
