Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work on an as-needed basis to advise project managers on remediation engineering projects. Projects include contaminants such as petroleum, chlorinated solvents, and landfills.
  • Provide advanced technical support for environmental remediation projects, including design of pilot testing and remediation methods, along with determination of regulatory applicability. Applicable remediation techniques may range from biological and chemical injection, soil vapor extraction, multiphase extraction, groundwater pump and treat, and other technologies.
  • Provide clear direction for field personnel and direct the implementation of environmental remediation field activities including oversight of remedial actions and installation of remediation systems.
  • Operate, optimize and maintain environmental remediation systems.
  • Lead preparation of technical bidding specifications for excavations, corrective action systems, and other subcontracted activities
  • Lead preparation of feasibility studies that evaluate multiple options, including present value cost estimates.
  • Senior technical advisor of geological and engineering projects involving projects related to the investigation, evaluation, and remediation of contaminated sites.
  • Determines the nature and extent of contamination of soil and groundwater at environmental sites.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • BS or Master's in Engineering
  • 15+ Environmental consulting experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Able to obtain site access to secure areas such as Federal or State sites.
