Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Research Analyst with a focus on Cancer-related healthcare opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track in covering the cancer space and extensive relationships with companies and management teams. The Analyst will work within the research department and collaborate with the other analysts and review macro-opportunities for the firm.

Salary Range: $200-225k
Responsibilities:
- Provide research coverage on cancer focused issuers and potentially other related types of issuers
- Identify relationships that can result in introductions to other members of the Ladenburg team
- Attend conferences and further develop a reputation as a key opinion leader within the space
- Work with junior analysts and train as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to best practices in financial services.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, client meetings, and other networking events.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in research, investment banking, or related areas.
- Demonstrated success preparing research reports and developing the financial modeling associated therewith.
- Extensive knowledge of financial markets and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the highest levels.
