Job Description:
As a Senior Revit/CAD Technician at PBS Engineers, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and production of design drawings and models in the MEP+ industry. You will collaborate with engineers to bring projects to life and provide guidance to other Revit/CAD designers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with designers to produce fully coordinated design drawings across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Information Technology.
- Ensuring that Revit/CAD drawing efforts align with company and client BIM/CAD standards and styles.
- Preparing plans, sections, diagrams, and detail drawings for various processes specific to MEP disciplines.
- Working with Revit models, families, and CAD-based files for use in contract documents production.
- Collaborate with clients, attend meetings, and prepare client communications while working to achieve project milestones.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- 5-10 years of experience using Revit knowledge and AutoCAD skills in design drawing production for MEP.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- 3 years of experience working with Autodesk (Bim360/ACC) cloud-based projects.
Preferred Qualifications (not required but beneficial):
- Professional certification or degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in other CAD/BIM software. (e.g. BimLink, Axiom, others)
- Some experience working with Navisworks.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior CAD designers.
