Description:

Nature's Sunshine is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to help lead and execute our sales strategy, manage high-performing sales teams, and drive sustainable growth across key markets. This role requires a proven sales leader who understands the unique dynamics of the direct selling (MLM) industry and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, omnichannel environment. You will be responsible for developing tactical plans, mentoring sales leaders, and ensuring your region consistently meets and exceeds growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop, execute, and optimize sales strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and sales channels to drive growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to align initiatives.

Team Management & Development
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of field development reps and field distributors.
  • Provide ongoing training, professional development, and support for a growing field of diverse distributors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and achievement within the team.
  • Willingness and availability to travel regularly to support field leaders, attend key events, and strengthen distributor relationships through in-person engagement.

Sales Performance & Reporting
  • Monitor KPIs and sales performance metrics; analyze trends and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, insights, and reports to senior leadership.
  • Adjust strategy and tactics based on evolving business needs and market shifts.

Distributor & Customer Engagement
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with top-performing distributors and key customers.
  • Address concerns, resolve escalations, and ensure a high standard of service and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with field leaders to drive engagement, promote key initiatives, and amplify loyalty through regular communication, recognition, and support.

Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviors.
  • Use data and insights to refine sales strategies and influence future product and promotional planning.
  • Identify emerging risks and opportunities in the marketplace and proactively recommend strategic adjustments to maintain a competitive edge.

Compliance & Ethical Standards
  • Ensure all sales activities align with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and professionalism.
  • Provide guidance and training to the sales team on compliance requirements and ethical conduct to mitigate risk and uphold brand reputation.

Budget & Resource Management
  • Manage sales budgets efficiently and strategically allocate resources to maximize ROI and business impact.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA a plus).

Experience:
  • 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role-preferably within the MLM or Direct Selling industry.
  • Experience in a hybrid or omnichannel sales environment is strongly preferred.
