This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations within the Commercial Finance organization, and is a proven professional, responsible for providing support to Finance and Sales management, enhancing the sales team's productivity and effectiveness, and implementing solutions based on data and analysis to drive meaningful revenue growth in the business. The role requires working effectively and cross-functionally, in a global and rapidly changing environment.

The role requires working effectively and cross-functionally, in a global and rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and implement processes to streamline and continuously improve our current sales reporting and analytics to appropriately raise awareness and drive corrective actions
- Manage and optimize Salesforce.com platform to ensure proper opportunity, account, and contact management
- Establish KPIs to monitor and drive Salesforce.com user compliance and data integrity; provide ongoing training and support to Commercial team
- Work as an intermediary between IT and Sales to improve Salesforce.com interface
- Drive behavioral changes in the sales organization to maximize productivity and align projections with global forecast
- Manage Salesforce.com projects and training initiatives
- Test existing and new functionality in Salesforce.com and Tableau, as required
- Identify and develop best practices documentation and training for the Commercial team around product line sales pipeline development
- Provide analytical support for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs from Salesforce.com and Tableau
- Establish pipeline analytics and reporting dashboards to support demand planning, demo inventory management, FAS application and service engineering management and other cross-functional needs of the organization
- Monitor external data feeds, interfaces, and reports
- Support Commercial Finance Team reporting alignment exercises during each quarter close
- Engage and lead ad hoc projects and analysis, as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4-5+ years direct experience in sales operations, planning or reporting
- Must have extensive Salesforce.com experience (Salesforce.com certification is a plus)
- Tableau experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, pivot tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data
- Experience with sales training
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience in examining and synthesizing data to inform decision making
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
