Responsibilities of the Senior SAP PI Developer
At McLane Advanced Technologies, we are seeking a talented Senior SAP PI Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a professional specializing in SAP's Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO) modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP PI/PO systems to optimize our integration processes and ensure seamless data flow between various systems and applications.

The Senior SAP PI Developer will:

• Analyze business requirements and provide functional and technical design solutions for SAP PI/PO integration work.
• Develop interfaces using various integration technologies like IDOC, SOAP, REST, RFC, Proxy, File, EDI, JDBC, BAPI, etc.
• Configure SAP PI/PO components such as Integration Builder, Integration Directory, Runtime Workbench, and more.
• Develop custom Java/ABAP mappings, adapters, and user-defined functions.
• Perform unit and integration testing of the interfaces to ensure they meet the functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot errors in the interfaces and provide user support.
• Work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of SAP PI/PO solutions.
• Develop and maintain operational and technical documentation of the interfaces.
• Manage multiple SAP PI/PO projects, effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Stay current with the latest SAP developments and integration technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management illustrating the effectiveness of integration strategies after SAP PI/PO implementation.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to SAP PI/PO implementations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP PI Developer with extensive knowledge in SAP PI/PO modules.
• Strong understanding of integration technologies and processes, including IDOC, SOAP, REST, RFC, Proxy, File, EDI, JDBC, BAPI, etc.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to handle complex scenarios under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• CompTIA Security+ Certified
• Active Secret Security Clearance
