Position Description:
This Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Manager role is responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of SAP projects. The candidate must have practical experience of having been an SAP Project Manager for large and complex initiatives.
Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for working closely with our client(s) to lead the overall project/program implementation of SAP S/4HANA and ensure the effective delivery of project activities within approved scope, schedule and budget, while ensuring client satisfaction.
-Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships, including promoting client collaboration on the resolution of any disputes or issues that arise during the project
-Facilitating the definition of clear and attainable project objectives,
-Managing project financials and budget to ensure expected project margin / profitability is met
-Maintaining the healthy management of your project by mitigating risks and defining resolution plans for addressing issues
-Assisting in the preparation of proposals in conjunction with sales and delivery as required
-Developing detailed statements of work, estimates and work schedules
-Mentoring team members and junior Project Managers
Education:
-Post-secondary/University education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
-PMP designation, ScrumMaster certification (required)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-10+ years of SAP Implementation Project Management experience, with functional knowledge of core SAP modules.
-Must have led 1 to 2 E2E large SAP S/4 Implementations as Project or Program Manager & must be familiar with large scale SAP Implementation project management fundamentals, especially in a complex legacy integration environment and SAP Template Build & Adoption scenarios.
-Must be proficient in major SAP Project Management methodologies such as SAP Activate, SAP ASAP, and Agile Methodologies such as SCRUM, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
-Certifications in major Project Management Methodology & Frameworks is highly preferred.
-Demonstrated success establishing and maintain Executive-level relationships
-Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
-Strong SAP Project delivery experience
