POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Solutions team at Sayari has mastered the use of public data in support of national security and wants to help others do the same.Our Solutions team is the first and foremost expert in the government's national security mission set - from vendor vetting and hardening critical supply chain resilience to tracking illicit criminal groups and sanctions evasion schemes. They thrive on tackling tough investigations and uncovering critical insights that others might miss. But Solutions analysts are also quick thinkers and intuitive communicators who know how fulfilling it is to share their knowledge with others.At Sayari, Solutions analysts ensure that our prospective customers love using our products and see us as an integral partner in their core missions. In this, they unite curiosity, expertise, and a deep appreciation for how our data and tools can drive more effective screening and investigations. Success in this position is measured by the impact on the customer's mission and the growth of engagement within accounts.This position is specifically geared towards supporting the US government's supply chain risk management and vendor vetting requirements. As such, we are looking for a candidate who can work with and train government analysts on effective supply chain risk management workflows. We are a hybrid workplace and welcome candidates who prefer flexible work from home and/or office. This position will require periodic in-person meetings, primarily in the DC area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Become a trusted partner for our prospective government customers, helping them understand how to leverage Sayari products and expertise to advance their missions, especially as it relates to supply chain security
    • Independently develop and deliver capability briefings and other materials that address priority investigative and analytical challenges in support of prospective customer engagements and for public sector audiences
    • Lead analytically driven trials with prospects to prove the value of Sayari products
    • Conduct innovative, complex public data investigations from concept to deliverable, utilizing Sayari's data and products and drawing on resources from across Sayari departments
    • Maintain expertise and develop novel approaches to address critical and emerging priorities of Sayari's customers and prospects
    • Coordinate with the Revenue teams to support client engagements and represent client feedback


Required Skills & Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in supply chain risk management, vendor vetting, and/or illicit trade investigations
    • 10+ years of experience and a track record of success in customer interactions and/or briefings; equally confident with prepared remarks and extemporaneous discussion/Q&A situations
    • Deep understanding of supply chain risk management and associated regulatory frameworks
    • Well-versed in our customers' greatest challenges: supply chain mapping and trade controls, transnational criminal organizations and illicit networks, financial crime, and sanctions evasion
    • Strong communicator with the ability to share complex insights in clear, concise, engaging ways
    • Ability to identify challenges before they arise and work proactively and creatively to address them


Desired Skills & Experience:
    • Regional analytic expertise (Latin America, Asia, Middle East, Africa)
    • Formal analytic training (Intelligence Community; Government Regulatory; Commercial Supply Chain Risk Management)


$110,000 - $120,000 a year

The target base salary for this position is $110,000-$120,000 plus variable and equity. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
