A leading provider of security and low-voltage solutions is seeking a Senior Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. If you have 10+ years of field experience and a strong background in security technology, this is an opportunity to work on mission-critical projects while leading field teams and ensuring quality installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and program security alarm systems, access control, and CCTV to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage cable layout, termination, labeling, and firestopping to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, providing technical guidance and ensuring work meets project specifications.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and system drawings to plan efficient installations.
  • Provide technical expertise for system installation, repairs, and service across various security platforms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, system updates, and project statuses.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
  • Participate in equipment training and certifications as needed to stay up to date on security system advancements.
  • Maintain and service assigned company vehicles and equipment to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Respond to service calls, both during regular work hours and after hours as needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Uphold strict safety procedures and ensure proper quality control on all installations.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience installing, programming, and servicing access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • D-License required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Strong experience reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturer training and certifications in Software House and ExacqVision.
  • Experience with mantrap systems is a plus.


Work Conditions

  • Must be available for off-hours work (second/third shifts, weekends) as required.
  • Participation in on-call service rotation as needed.
