Position Description

Serves as a key member of the ATI Business Services team in direct support of company goals and objectives.

**This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.**

Essential Functions

Administers and coordinates facility security activities by implementing the applicable requirements of 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the related USG security requirements.

Performs Sub-Contractor Management through creating and issuing DD254s under ATI's OTA model to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements. Provide prime and subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254s.

Supports personnel security clearance processes and ensures cleared personnel are provided clear, applicable, and effective training; initially and regularly thereafter.

Provides security orientation to new employees and transfers including badging, clearance requirements, fingerprinting, reporting requirements, terminations, and debriefings.

Prepares for and supports government inspections, reviews, and audits of the security program and addresses any action items. Maintains good communication with on-site and organizational leadership.

Administers, executes, and ensures adherence to company and government regulations, policies, and procedures regarding the protection of company, customer and government information and assets. This includes proprietary, sensitive, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and classified information.

Must be able to provide security advice and assistance to teammates across the enterprise.

Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), Security Information Management System (SIMS), Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) Portal, and Electronic Application (eAPP).

Assist in the development and revision of security plans, procedures, and instructions. Recommend modifications to security operating procedures or policies to the FSO.

Support the FSO in conducting regular security audits and inspections. Conduct self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, and implement security measures.

Qualifications
  • CDSE FSO for Possessing Facilities Certification
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance: ability to attain/maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • 5+ years of industrial security experience as a cleared defense contractor within the National Industrial Security Program.
  • IAM/IAT Security Certification a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in security or related field.
  • COMSEC and RMF experience a plus.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance to accept certain documents in accordance with the essential functions of this position.
