General Duties:
Senior Security Specialist
Helm Point Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Security Specialist to join the team. As a Senior Security Specialist you will be responsible for performing the following duties including but not limited to the following:
- Assist in the administration, operations, and maintenance of special security program/office
- Support efforts around the operational plans, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding classified information, property, and materials
- Assist in the analysis and evaluation of practices for accessing classified or sensitive information, materials, or work sites
- Maintain control and accountability of classified including the proper storage, transmittal, and/ or destruction of materials
- Provide guidance, training, instruction, and review on the handling of classified information by personnel and security awareness
- Provide security training to external unit security personnel approved for co-habitation of any facility
- Provide subject matter expertise on accreditation and upgrades of Sensitive Information related directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines for the program office
- Develop and conduct briefings for senior military and civilian leadership
- Provide customer service oriented environment to support in/out processing of visitor personnel and all physical security engagements
Requirements:
- TS/SCI with Poly
- 11 - 14 years of relevant experience in a similar scope of work
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study
