Senior Software Developer - Front End

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and creating *** and effective user interfaces.
• Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
• This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
• Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

Front End Skills:

• Knowledge and experience coding and using basic artwork to deliver a complete user interface.
• Experience creating web interfaces for large websites.
• Experienced with complex large-scale systems, Cross browser compatibility, Responsive frameworks and Social Media APIs.
• Experience defining product strategy and roadmap.
• Experience working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities, runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples, and becomes an expert with respect to the competition.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications and rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
• Experience with middleware and gateways.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Development Experience: 25%

• 10+ years' experience in the use of J2EE development tools: WebSphere Application Development environment, utilizing tools such as RSA or Eclipse etc.
• 10+ years' experience Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x, JSP.
• 10+ UID development, Angular, CSS, Agile paradigm, usage of RSA.
• 10+ Java development experience.
• 10+ Database experience Oracle.
• Extensive experience with IBM Urban Code tools.

UI/UX Experience: 25%

• 10+ years of extensive hands-on experience with CSS.
• Extensive experience with responsive development and HTML5.
• Extensive experience coding for mobile devices.

ODA Experience: 25%

• 10+ years of experience with developing J2EE application in compliance with PCI and WCAG 2.0 Standards, and bringing applications to AODA Compliancy.
• Experience with JAWS, WAI-ARIA, HTML 5.
