Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and support the development of our DataHub and InfoCenter products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring and extending DataHub and InfoCenter base products, strong relational database experience, as well as other software development technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining features for our data platform products.

Job Description

Required Skills
  • Prior experience with the use and extension of the DataHub & InfoCenter products, including SAP Data Services for ETL development, and IBM Cognos Analytics for reporting
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Experience working with the InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
  • Understanding of Agile development principles, and related tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


What you would do
  • Technical design and leadership of features from inception to release
  • Maintain and promote a healthy codebase, ensuring high quality of our products
  • Identify, design, & implement improvements to our products and development processes
  • Own, troubleshoot & resolve product defects
  • Perform thorough testing of any code you develop
  • Utilize secure coding practices throughout the SDLC to safeguard against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards
  • Mentor less experienced developers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000 - $240,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
