We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic product team at ThreatMate, a rapidly growing startup, revolutionizing the cybersecurity landscape for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). ThreatMate provides advanced solutions in cloud security monitoring, external and internal vulnerability discovery, and automated penetration testing. Reporting into the Chief Technology Officer, you'll leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, UI/UX design, and software development to significantly enhance and expand our platform.

ThreatMate provides advanced solutions in cloud security monitoring, external and internal vulnerability discovery, and automated penetration testing. Reporting into the Chief Technology Officer, you'll leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, UI/UX design, and software development to significantly enhance and expand our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust software solutions on the ThreatMate platform.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, customer support, and infrastructure engineers.
- Manage technical projects involving cloud deployments across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and containerized solutions with Docker and Terraform.
- Implement user-centric front-end interfaces using Vue.js, ensuring responsive, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences.
- Experience in building software in Go.
- Embodying an AI First mentality, experimenting with LLMs, and building new capabilities using AI
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure systems compatibility, performance, and security across Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Contribute actively to network configuration, management, troubleshooting, and security enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- 10+ years of software development experience, with significant time in a senior-level position.
- Proficiency in Google Go (Golang) language.
- Deep expertise in cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Azure.
- Strong proficiency with Docker containers, Terraform, and container orchestration.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
- Solid front-end development skills, with proficiency in Vue.js.
- Experience and familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and network security.
- Extensive understanding of Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in vulnerability management software development is highly preferred.
** This will be a remote role (US-based; EST time zone preferred).
