About this Role
This Software Engineer will work with the Analytic Mission Integration (AMI) team designing, developing, and maintaining systems of web-based analysis tools. The software suite includes containerized React user interfaces, Java and Go microservices, a custom REST security system, and various data stores including MongoDB and an Opensearch cluster. It offers users access to real-time alerting, historical querying using smart query builders, as well as document storage and retrieval.

This position is hourly. We estimate you'll earn between $270,000 and $370,000 annually, including our flex income, depending upon your annual work hours.

About this Role
This Software Engineer will work with the Analytic Mission Integration (AMI) team designing, developing, and maintaining systems of web-based analysis tools. The software suite includes containerized React user interfaces, Java and Go microservices, a custom REST security system, and various data stores including MongoDB and an Opensearch cluster. It offers users access to real-time alerting, historical querying using smart query builders, as well as document storage and retrieval.
As a Software Engineer on the AMI team, you will:
- Work with development and configuration management teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish staging clusters and deploy/test software.
- Create infrastructure through code and write Helm charts.
- Transfer software artifacts between systems and create documentation.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
- Experience with the following:
- Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm
- Git, GitLab, GitLab runners, CI/CD, Maven
- Linux, Spring, REST
- Databases, SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
- 20 years of experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related field) OR 24 years of experience without a degree.
- Ability to work on-site up to 3 days per week.
